One Peak expands its Technology and Platform leadership

• One Peak announces Ali Kokaz as Head of Data and Lauren Sharman as Head of Platform

• On the heels of announcing its recent $1 billion fund, One Peak is now the largest growth fund in Europe dedicated to making investments in B2B software scale-ups, with $2 billion in assets under management

London, United Kingdom - October 10th, 2023 — One Peak, a leading investor for growth stage software companies in Europe and Israel, is establishing Technology & Platform functions that will accelerate its ambition to find and support best-in-class founders in Europe and Israel. One Peak welcomes Ali Kokaz as Head of Data, and Lauren Sharman as Head of Platform.

Ali will lead the development of PULSE, One Peak’s proprietary sourcing engine, helping One Peak discover exceptional founders beyond its immediate network and will also create new knowledge, sharing proprietary insights to help entrepreneurs stay ahead of a changing growth environment.

Lauren will set up One Peak’s Platform function, creating peer communities amongst its portfolio and deepening its portfolio support offering through robust talent, go-to-market, and executive programs to help scale-ups achieve global expansion.

Prior to joining One Peak, Ali Kokaz was Head of Data Science at Founders Factory, a venture studio and early-stage startup accelerator. Previously, Ali worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Bricklane, the largest PropFinTech institutional investment platform in Europe, and as a lead data scientist for the CFO and equity research teams at Credit Suisse. He also brings experience as Founder of Buzzing Stocks, which identified trending stocks using proprietary social media algorithms, helping informed investment decision become more accessible for everyone.

Lauren Sharman was previously Vice President, Marketing & Platform at Two Sigma Ventures, the venture capital arm of the quantitative hedge fund, Two Sigma, where she led the firm’s marketing and ecosystem engagement, and scaled its post-investment support capabilities for its portfolio of over 100 start-ups. Prior to that, she led Marketing & Strategic Growth at National Research Group (NRG), a global data science consultancy.
